Hoping for positive on pregnancy test before surgery??

OK, I know this sounds "out there," but I have realized in the past few days that I'm hoping for that pregnancy test before the hyst to be positive. I am done having kids for several reasons, but this fantasy hope keeps appearing in my head... I keep justifying the hope with my age (29) as if that changed my condition. I don't even think it's possible for me to get pregnant even if it was a wise thing, but that's how my wheels are turning anyway.

Anyone experiencing the same?

hi ellie, I found out that I was pregnant with my now 2 y.o ds when I was having my pre-op for a tubal ligation, I was also positive for cervical cancer at the time, but it was stable enough to have him. Needless to say I was shocked, kinda bummed cuz I thought I was done too, but glad he's here now! It can happen!

Wow! That must have been a surprise. It sounds like it was really meant to be, though. I have terrible postpartum, and I really don't think I could make it through another round. I have three boys now and each time it's gotten worse, life-threatening at its worst and general dysfunctional at its least severe. But, you know, I think if I get a surprise like yours I'll know that the Lord will help me through it.

By the way, have you already had your TAH/BSO with tuck? I am planning the same surgery. I am interested in hearing about recovery and satisfaction, and which kind of tuck you had. Would you mind sharing?
