Urine smells like metal

Help. Seven weeks later and seems like when I urinate, urine has foul odor of metal substance? normal?

It might be. I know my urine smelled somewhat the same for a long time, however, I wouldn't say it was foul. I did have a surprise when I went to my doctor for a check up about a year later and they found that I had a bladder infection. I was quite shocked that I had had not other symptoms. I am not saying that I had the bladder infection for a year but I did notice that the smell was gone after the round of antibiotics. It doesn't hurt to call your doctor and ask.

I have that symptom and just found out today it is a uti -- now I am on cipro
