TVH Six weeks post vaginal hysterectomy: So thankful for DH and a good doctor

I am 6 weeks post op from TVH and anterior/posterior repairs and a sling. After reading many, many posts during the last weeks, I am SO THANKFUL for having such a wonderful husband who did absolutely everything for me during my recovery and was the first to tell me to rest if I was looking worn out. I'm also very thankful for the most awesome urogynecologist who took time with me from the very beginning to answer any and all questions and address my concerns. I felt very confident in his surgical abilities going into the surgery and I was not disapponted. I'm at the very tail end of recovery and feeling so much more normal in my female region than I did before the surgery with everything possible prolapsing! It's an awesome feeling to be getting back into the swing of things and rejoining an active life.

So glad that your Dr. and DH were so supportive and helpful, I think it really makes a difference in the emotional aspect of healing...
