Is the VH's veiw of the ovaries a good one?
Can my Dr get a complete look at my ovaries from her angle doing a VH to make an accurate decision if they are completely healthy? Will she be able to see all the way around them or should I insist that she go in through my belly with the scopes first?

Is the VH's veiw of the ovaries a good one?
Hey Stacyshan...I had the same question and even asked my Gyno why she wasn't doing the lap....she said she didn't feel that she needed it with me. Maybe every case is different and they can tell when they need to do the lap and when not...I'm having both my ovaries removed, so I really am praying that she can see things real good...
Thanks for posting the same question I've been asking myself,
hugs,
Mich

I had a TVH, my Dr. was able to see everything well enough to know that one of my tubes needed to be removed and that my overies were in good shape.
hope this helps

I guess it is different for everyone. My dr. said she would remove my ovaries if she could get to them easily (I hav a tvh and cystocele and rectocele repair) and she couldn't so she didn't.
