hysterectomy in my future

it looks like I have about 6 months and then the doctor wants to do the hyster. we are waiting that long, just to make sure that the adhesions, and entrapped ovary weren't the problem. He is sure I have adenomyosis. Anyways I am so glad this board is here!

Welcome! This is a great place. I was lucky to find it prior to my surgery (before I even considered surgery, actually) and essentially discovered on my own what was wrong with me (adenomyosis). I hope you aren't in too much pain. Mine started in earnest about this time last summer. Ughh..
In any case, I hope all goes well for you. By the time you have surgery, you'll know more than your doc!

Thank you for your post! I have been visiting this website for quit some time now, I have know something was wrong for a year and a half now. I found myself saying oh yeah I found out online.... I read everything I can find.

While you are waiting, have you considered getting a second opinion about what could be best for you? Sometimes another set of eyes can open up a new realm of thinking and options!
