sex after adhesion surgery

hello ladies, i had quite a bit of adhesions after my LAVH LSO on 12/4/12 that gave my significant pain so after finding a new dr i had them removed with laser laparoscopy on 3/1/13. my dr. gave me no restrictions as to when i could return to sexual activity so last night my husband whom ive been separated from for 2 years came over to see me & check on me and it happened.. my question is im wondering when is it ok? ive got just a lil cramping in my side & thats all..
