need advice

been a long time since ive been in touch but desperate for advice.had my check up at the hospital which i felt was very strange doc looked at my abdom scar said it looked fine and there's no need to see them again i was confused ,told them still in pain they said it was normal.been to see gp still in abdom pain legs aching all the time feel depressed i told them im trying to go back to norm by going back to work general day to day things but im getting tired easily and feeling worse.i am not getting no support from gp they think cos ive had the op i should be fine and brushes me aside.i dont know what to do need some advice.

I think you need a new doc.

I'd call the nurse station on the women's floor at the hospital and ask what gyn's they recommend. The nurses know who takes care of their patients.

I would refuse to get that kind of treatment.

You may need some hormones or still may be anemic.

Things are different here in the UK from over in the US.
I was given HRT by my GP which has only partially worked. When I had a post-op check at the hospital my gynaecologist arranged a referral to the menopause clinic. You may get a more sympathetic hearing there.
I still have problems which are being investigated, possibly not connected to the TAH, but I can certainly say I still have pain and poor energy levels that must link to the op. I know that doesn't sort your problem, but you are not alone.
How about a chat to your practice nurse, or another GP in your practice?
Remember - we keep them in business. It's their job to help us get well. If your problems are getting in the way I'd make another appointment and make a list to take with you.
I do wish you better times - and do demand some serious pampering!
