Doing too much at three months??

I am 3 months post op and have been feeling really good for the past 6 or 7 weeks. Today I was painting ceilings when I got a period type cramps. Is it possible to still be down to the hysterectomy after 6 weeks of doing a lot and getting no pain?

Re: Doing too much at three months??

Even though the initial recovery from a hysterectomy is an average of 6 - 8 weeks, it can take up to a year to be fully recovered. I remember have twinges 6 - 9 months following my hysterectomy when I did strenuous things. Give your body time and I hope you feel better soon!
