Blood Boiling & Disappointed, will it end?

Those that have followed my story know I am pretty much at my wits end. An abnormal MRI(possible metallic artifacts or free air) on 11/7 but a normal CT on 11/14.

Dr. finally called today and pretty much told me she didn't know other than I am still early in my post op phase and that is could be scar tissue. She wanted to try me on birth control pills(to supress the ovaries), lupron shots(she didnt want to take my ovaries and send me into menopause at such a young age yet offers Lupron shots which will do just that she said) or Progesterone(which I took for nearly 5 months pre-op with no results). She kept bringing up endometriosis(which by the way I have never been diagnosed with) and that she didn't want to open me up so soon after a surgery to remove my ovaries. She can't know for sure my ovaries are causing my pain...after all they were normal on the CT (couldnt be seen on MRI) Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I am trying to get in with someone to get a second opinion but I am so angry and at my wits end. I know my pelvic pain is real and it is the same pain I had prior to surgery.

Anybody else have to go through all this post op?

I think you are on the right path to seek a second opinion.

I am 31 and in surgical menopause. It is bearable... Sorry you are going through so much.. Big hugs...
