Dull achy pain 9 weeks post op

A couple days ago I had to go and do some stuff outside - shoveling snow, chipping ice from the walk, cleaning up after my dog, etc...

Later that day I was getting sharp cramps on one side, appx where my left ovary used to be and since then I've had these dull crampy pains in my abdomen that feel like period cramps. It makes me want to reach for my Pamprin bottle again.

I should be healed up enough at this point that I didn't tear anything loose inside, right? As much as I like my surgeon I don't want to have to go back and see her again. Hopefully I can just wait and it will go away again.

Oh, I wish I could help you there. If it doesn't get any better I would call just to be safe. It may be nothing, but you never know.

Hmm, well, I was 7 weeks post op this past Monday and over the last few evenings, I have been standing on my feet longer than I normally do (cleaning out cabinets and such)....nothing heavy, just time consuming....and by the end of the evening, I am a little achey and noticed a bloated belly.

I just rested with a heating pad and some Ibuprofen and it seems to have subsided. But, I too, think how long will this last.

I guess it's true, that we all heal at different rates and that we should just take it easy when our bodies tell us to. If it persists, I would contact your doctor though!
