Need some advice from those in the know
I am almost 8 weeks post-op, was put on HRT right away due to my age. Things seem to be all right, except for the major crying jags I had when I did not wear it for about a week due to frustration to its non-sticking issue. Got some great advice on that issue. Done!!! Now the problem is I wear it religiously, change it like I am supposed to, and now the longest I go without is maybe a couple of hours. Problem is, my internal temperature regulator seems to be WAY off. I do not usually get hot, I get cold. Me and the hubby can be sitting on the couch watching a movie, he's fine in a t-shirt or no shirt, and I have a blankie wrapped around me. Of course, when I cook or do dishes, I get hot. Also, I can just out of the blue start crying for no reason at all. I wonder, do I need to talk to my gyno about getting the hormone dose (Estradiol .01 mg/day) or do I need to go back to my therapist because I do not truly have my emotional issues resolved like I thought I did? Or need I do both? Anyone know?
Thank you to all of you, and I wish you all a happy recovery!
