TAH Feeling anxious 11 days post hysterectomy

I am day number 11 post surgery. My emotions are all over the place. Feels like the end of recovery is so far away. I am freezing during the day and hot at night and can't sleep does anyone have any recommendations?

I too went thru those same things. And although I still get the night sweats, my emotions have evened out. For me, just knowing that this was normal & temporary helped. Also, talk to your doc too

Talk to your doc to make sure you are ok to take it but try some Magnesium Glycinate (the kind that doesn't give you diarrhea). It is good for anxiety and insomnia. I take one 200mg in the morning and one at night and it helps balance my moods and helps me sleep. I still have a few nights here and there where I can't sleep but overall it has helped me.

thank you for the tip about the magnesium. I'll mention it to my doctor tomorrow at my 2 week post-op appointment.
