No Date: Still no hysterectomy date: Is it always this slow? (long)

The scheduler at my drs office makes me crazy. She won't schedule me until all pre opp is done. She wouldn't give me a straight answer to how far from surgery can I have blood draw and chest xrays. I know some want it within 2 weeks or 30 days. I have vacation in mid July so I'm waiting until after that but it would be nice to have it scheduled then I could get labs and xray done. Oh well I have to wait for the cardiologist visit next week.

Crazy. She just looked at book and said how about next monday. All I had to do was take a pregnancy test (ha) and get labs

Once my doc gives the go-ahead, she said it'll only be 2-3 weeks until surgery. It's getting to the "go-ahead" stage that's taking forever!
I know it'll be a Tuesday because that's the only day they do surgeries, and I was hoping for a Tuesday in June. I'm waiting for the callback about my blood before I can do anything else.

It's good to hear everyone else's stories because even in the U.S., it seems things are different from doc to doc.

Good luck happy Dee. Mine will happen on a Monday that is surgery day. I just don't know when but I'm hoping 3rd week in July.
