When you came home from the castle...

What was the first thing that you thought of?

For me it had to be my own bed! ahhh

I was thinking that I would be able to sleep all night long without being bothered. Of course, didn't consider the cats or the pain meds only lasting 3 hours in that thought.

I wanted to make sure that the recliner was ok to sleep in and that I had everything I needed close to me so that I woulldn't have to disturb my dh anymore than I had too.

I went straight into the bathroom and got in the shower and washed my nasty hair!!!!!!I had to have help getting out and drying off but by golly I was clean all over!!!!

Get me in the shower and get the weed whipper I need to shave my legs!!! I was also surprised on how hard it was to get comfy in my bed, especially getting out, I missed having the bed rail.

I was just soooo thankful to be home, that I survived and that it was all over!!!!
I think I really began to appreciate pillows!!!!!!! Great comfort from them & protection from my "welcoming pets!!!" Hooray!!! zanylynn

I wanted a shower---in my OWN home and I wanted to sleep in my own bed. I also wanted my kids around me and my dh. I too missed the bed rail the first couple of times getting out of bed--they really should send those home with you. (wink) ~Joy

My only thought all the way home and once inside the door was SLEEP!!!! I was on a birthing unit (OH, now that was sensitive, considering the surgery! Thanks, oh castle Bed Assigner!). And near the nursery. Now, I dearly love babies, but, OMG! all I wanted was sleep! I went straight in the house and straight to bed!

My first thought was get me to the shower!!!!! Then get me to my own bed!!!!! And thank God my DH can be with me full time now.

Oh yeah and give me some REAL food.
