Tired legs

Hi All, FAB group. I am 3 weeks post op with a total hysterectomy (they did have to leave my right ovary because it was unaccessible). I'm having problems with extreme fatigue to the point that my quads hurt. I do walk at a slow pace for 45 min every morning.....is this normal and is the walking too much??? I am 51 years old and am very active.

I am 3 weeks post op as well kept bit ovaries, but they took everything else. I'm amazed that you can do 45 minutes of walking at a time. I can only walk around for 20-30 minutes at a time without becoming exhausted. I'm 40 and in pretty good shape prior to surgery. Maybe try cutting back to 30 minutes for 2 or 3 days and see if that helps, if it does, then just try adding a minute or two each day. I have found that I have to work my way into activities very slowly. Our bodies have been through a major shock and we just have to remember to slow down as frustrating as it may be. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and my legs hurt too. I'm walking 20 minutes a day, but pretty much up moving around all the time. I'm trying to stretch out the leg muscles, even when sitting down and that might be adding to the soreness too. Better that we have some feeling in the legs than not!
