Update on Rose Gem (Edna)

Hey all you SW Virginia peeps,

Got this email, just wanted to let you and everyone else know that Edna made it though and so far, so good!

Hey guys! Just wanted to let everyone know that Edna made it through OK. The doctor said the surgery went well and that everything looked good. When I went by to visit- they had just gave her something to knock her out. She slept the whole time I was there- so I haven't got to talk to her yet. Hopefully she will come back from la la land for my next visit! Thank all of you for caring so much about her--she is a wonderful person, and I consider it a honor to be among those she calls "friends". If anything changes I will let you know--or if she commands me to play secretary agian!
