4 months post hysterectomy - orgasm not the same

Ok... I'm 4 months post op, finally decided to have sex abut 2 weeks ago. It was tender and definitely felt different. My partner didn't have any issues or complaints, only that it felt a little different.
The biggest issue for me is orgasm. I have always had deep uterine orgasm and now that is gone. I can still orgasm but it feels incomplete, like something is missing. It's not bad, but not the same level of pleasure. I'm focusing more on the intimacy aspect then orgasm now since I no longer feel the same. Doc said nothing would change...that what I thought I was feeling as a uterine orgasm really isnt... boy was he wrong.

If you're used to feeling deeper uterine contractions, yes, those will be missing. I've noticed that I need more foreplay and touching... which is fine for both of us - we've focused on the intimacy as you've mentioned, and a satisfying sex life involves your mind and emotions, too.
