Bleeding from "down there" after anal sex

Hi there, I think you will find you were not suppose to do either, the new virginal cuff has only an inch from the rectum, Also you can get an infection while you are still healing, i understand about the wanting sex but its so important to take the right time to heal, there will be plenty of time once you are well to run around, play soft ball etc, please see your dr even if the bleeding has stopped and take care, good luck hope all goes ok for you

I am hoping you have called your doctor. What did he/she say?

I also felt like a little kid that got caught with her hand in the cookie jar when I had to tell my doctor that I sort of got carried away and had a quickie at 2 1/2wks post op...I bled pretty bad and even had chills. Luckily no damage was done!

Oh sister... Don't be ashamed or angry at yourself for posting. Being honest and seeking help is important here.

I went to the doctor yesterday and explained my situation. I got a big slap on the wrist but everything is fine. No damage caused. The bleeding is still very normal for up to 8 weeks. The likely culprit was the increased activity with playing catch. She explained that since this is the first time I've really used my abdomins

Thanks for updating, I'm glad all is well. Sorry for the wrist slap, I still think Drs instructions tend to be vague and hard to apply to "real life".

It posted before I was finished Anyway the bleeding is normal with more activity. I shouldn't worry as long as I don't have pain, heavy bleeding, or bleed past 8 weeks. And then I will have to go back! Thanks for the support!
