3rd doc visit

hi
I hope i have this right. I am going to the doc on fri 7/23 to discuss a possible date. This seems to be the only thing i think about in my spare time. My clothes don't seem to fit, one doc said my uterus is about 5 months in size. I just want to get it done really fast. I see some of you ladies had to wait a while is that the norm. I really have a thing about the anesthesia it scares me
really bad, but i see not everyone has gone fully to sleep, that did make me feel better. Can anyone give me impotant questions to ask. Thank you

Hi,

Here is a list of questions you might want to ask the dr before your surgery.

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/hsa...hp?s=&id=96847

I had to wait about 3 weeks. It depends on dr, insurance, and health of patient.

I hope this helps you some.

Hi, I had about a 3 week wait too. I could have had mine sooner but I needed the time to make arrangements for the care of my DD. It did also give us time for insurance pre approval.

If you're concerned about anesthesia, please talk with your dr about your options there. I had a general and did ok with it, but I've seen that some have had an epidural or spinal.

Best wishes.

Thanks for your help

hi,
Thank you for steering me in the right direction for my visit on Fri 7/23. I have not forgotton about the upgrade and I very much would like to, I will be doing it my next payday, but i did make a purchase at the store, I brought the book and also made the donation until then. I see the average wait looks to about three weeks, in a way that is good because it would be before the convention a busy time.

Be well, and thanks again, suzyQ23

I waited 6 days after seeing my doc. I didn't have much time to freak out but the waiting still *****. I was scared due to never having surgery before. It really was a cake walk. I decided to go with the general, I'm a weenie when it comes to needles and couldn't bare the thought of a needle in my back.

This site really helped me relax pre op. I also kept thinking positive thoughts over and over. My Mom was shocked at how relaxed I was before and right after surgery.

Good luck to you
