The pity party and anxiety is going to stop!

For my fellow sisters that are further along in recovery and still having a difficult time, I have an idea.

Last night while watching tv, I came across a piece on anxiety. Some sufferers gave a tip. Breath in and count 1...2..3, hold it, 1...2...3..., breath out, 1...2...3.... Well gosh darn it works! I have been suffering with anxiety for years and would like very much to get off the xanax. I am going to practice this.

I'm pretty sure I have adhesions and have been having a pity party for myself. ENOUGH! After reading much on the topic, I am going to try some streching excersizes EVERYDAY!

I have an appt with my doc on Tuesday for a VERY minor spotting issue after our last intimate session. I'm going to lay it on the line and ask every question imaginable. I have them written down. Then, I am going to get on with life. I need to get out of this rut that I have put myself into, accept my beautiful self and continue the healing process.

Re: The pity party and anxiety is going to stop!

After the birth of my now 5 year old son- I went through post-partum anxiety and suffice it to say- I can't begin to describe the horror I went through with everything that came with it but I will say that Effexor took care of it inside of 3 months- however- I have been left with a couple of small tweaks still. 1 of said tweaks is that of not liking to be confined nor stuck inside for long periods of time- especially in really small spaces. Bad enough that I'm cloisterphobic. I found my own way of dealing with my anxieties. I just simply get up- throw on slippers or shoes and I just go right out the door for some fresh air. I stay outside until I feel better. If it's cold and yucky out- I open a window about 3 to 5 inches. I have been doing this ever since the post-partum anxiety passed and I stopped taking effexor and believe it or not- it has been working very well for me. I have no need of meds or techniques- I just go outside and take in the air and freedom.
