I have scheduled my hysterectomy... but I don't think I can go through with it!
To newsjunkie76 I was offered a hysterectomy in my 30s. I wanted children desperately. I had very heavy bleeding suspected adeno, PCOS and severe pain. I would not give up the idea that we would not be able to have children of our own. We spent eight and a half years pursuing that aim. It was incredibly stressful. I became depressed. We must have spent over £10,000 GBP on private treatment. Eventually we were offered one single cycle of IVF. This worked. I have a son who is nine years old. I think that you should go with your husband to get a second opinion and a proper diagnosis of your infertility if that is what the problems are. I do wish you well.
