13 days Post OP - No Emotion,Feelings, Nothing

I hit that wall at 4 weeks, not 2, but I suspect it's cycle-related, because my void happened around the time my period was due. No motivation, feeling like I wanted to cry, but couldn't, didn't want to do anything, just...there. About the time my period would be over, I slowly snapped out of it. I kept one ovary.

That is exactly how I would describe this. Has it been back again or did you only have it the one time? Just wondering if this is going to come monthly.

Well, I just snapped out of it a couple of days ago, and I had TAH 4 weeks ago, so, it's the first (and hopefully only) time. I have an appointment with my doc next week to get released for work, and I will tell her then. I hope it's not every month, but I want to be prepared in case it is. I really really really really hope it's just this once. I was not prepared for it at all. Up until that point, I was actually pretty happy with my decision and the results. No physical problems with recovery, no complications, all going well...and then BAM! Severe depression. It scared me.

Hope this helps. I will post what my doc says next week. Until then, I am tracking my moods and cycle and being vigilant.

same here, 2 weeks post op, feeling very grumpy and every little thing irritates me. (kept ovaries)

I think it is post op surgery stuff and will go away.
