Where's my gspot?

Ok, so I had a complete hysterectomy & my BIGGEST concern is that I no longer have a Gspot. How my hubby loved that feeling, lol. Sex has never been great for me, so I don't fear many changes for me. I can take it or leave it, but it is sooooo good for my husband & it makes me feel good to satisfy him. Maybe things will change for me, or not, time will tell. So, do I still have a Gspot?

Re: Where's my gspot?

Okay, so I actually asked my gyno that question. I have always enjoyed enormous pleasure from my g spot and was worried about its future. I was not pleased with the answer. If you have your cervix removed, the nerve endings connecting to the g spot are compromised. I was told that there is not a lot of research done on this since some women don't even feel their g spot. But he said I may feel something but it won't be enough to "put me over the top". While I am relieved to have the surgery behind me, I will be mourning my g spot.

I hope you have better luck with yours.

Re: Where's my gspot?

It's in the front wall of your vagina, so it didn't get removed. A lot of nerves are cut in the surgery. Nerves heal over time. I wouldn't take one (male) doctor's word for it. Don't worry, just wait and see how it feels for you when the time comes. No sense in worrying about stuff you can't change!

If you're concerned about your husband feeling it, he still will. It didn't go anywhere.

Re: Where's my gspot?

Dear Foxybear,

In a previous post you said you were having everything removed except your cervix. Since no work was actually done inside the vagina, you should have nothing to worry about regarding your Gspot.

Re: Where's my gspot?

G spot still intact, orgasms as good as before (for the most part) without the days of pain and bleeding afterwards.

Re: Where's my gspot?

I had my cervix removed; my nerves were definitely compromised, although my g spot is of course still there (you can feel it on your vaginal wall).......I have had one orgasm from g spot stimulation since TLH. I used to have them regularly. However, I seem to be more sensitive externally now (and it may be because I notice it more since I am not as sensitive internally).

Long story short; you kept your cervix so you should be fine....

Re: Where's my gspot?

I have only made love with my hubby once since the operation and it was slow and easy. I was so apprehensive that I didn't even notice my G-Spot! I love it and it better still be there (-; I was just happy to know that 'hitting bottom' wasn't going to be an issue...LOL!!
