Menstrual Period while on fibristal (2014)

Hello everyone, I have been on fibristal for a month now, I was under the impression that I wouldn't get a period while on this medication. Well today to my surprise and disappointment my period started, then stopped, not sure what's going on. Has this happened to anyone else?

I started fibristal at the beginning of a period. That period lasted 7 days but not as heavy as usual. 2nd month had 3 day very light period then occasional few drops of blood. No bleeding at all after 6 weeks. 2nd course, period stopped after 5 days and no bleeding for remainder of 3 months.

I started Fibristal on Nov 19 and just got my SECOND heavy period yesterday . Very disappointed as I don't think this drug is working for me even though I have been taking it faithfully every day. I will find out beginning of March if it has shrunk my 9" fibroid on the top of my fundas. Good luck and best wishes to everyone!!

I ve just started taking fibristal but I had big clots and heavy bleeding on day 7th of my period . I took fibristal on day 3 of my period . If any one had the same problem ?????

I did not have that problem, only spotting at times throughout the first month. We all react differently I guess, but if after month 2 on Fibristal you still get your period you might want to let your doctor know.
