9 days post hysterectomy: Bleeding overnight only... wierd...

I am 9 days post LAVH, and I've got a wierd bleeding event happening overnight. I see my doctor Thursday, and will ask her no matter what.

I have light pink to no discharge during the day. However, overnight, I will have a bit of dark red blood. Not pad soaking blood, but maybe a couple teaspoons if that, and it looks newish when I wake up, not like it's been there for a couple hours. The only constant is a very full bladder.

Anyone had this? Any ideas?

The doctor's answer.... my overly stretched bladder is stretching the surgical scar, so I get a little bit of bleeding when it tears.
