I am just about killing myself
I am just about killing myself trying to get everything done before the big day which is May 6th Thursday. I have two young children and trying to plan meals and mowing the lawn and trying to figure out what I need to bring and how am I going to feel after this surgery. I have had two c-sections but from what I hear it is nothing like it. So I feel like I am going in to have a baby. Do I have everything done ya know I am just about frazzled myself out. I will need this time in the castle to just clear my head. Oh by the way I am also in college and it is finals week. two more to go tomorrow and then done for the summer. wheww..... thanks for listening

I am just about killing myself
Hi,
Try not to knock yourself out with all the work . If you don't get it all done it will be there when you are able to do it sometime after surgery. I would just do the most important things . Are you having help come in to help with the young ones? You will need to rest for a good 6 weeks.
Good luck on your finals, you will feel good once those are out of the way.
Best wishes on your upcoming surgery.

I am just about killing myself
Hey Nicolie,
I am right there with ya. My surgery is also on Thursday, but I have given up on getting everything done.
I have already told the family, I will get as much done as I can...then they are on there own
I have to my bowel prep tomorrow (oh yeh), so I am not going to be able to get much accomplished (between bathroom visits).
Try not to sweat the small stuff.

I am just about killing myself
Hey Nicolie,
I know how you feel. My surgery is May 21, and I'm taking my last final today. Yippee. Shoping, meals, laundry, pets, children, yard, study and cleaning. It can be overwhelming. I have decided that I will clean my bedroom top to bottom and my bathroom. Then the kitchen, clean and stock. If anything else gets the light run over that will be okay. My mom's coming down to take care of me because my husband is away right now working. But you do what you can and the rest will wait. Just get YOUR area neat and tidy and smelling good. You can stay locked in your room in the peaceful place. Anyway good luck and what you don't get done today, someone else can do or it will be there when you've recovered.

I know how ya'll feel, too!
I have the MAMA of all lists! (Don't we all)
I am going to try to accomplish everything on my list and then, it's up DH and my 10 year old son to keep things in order and as clean as they've found them
I've told them this is going to be their time to show me just how much they can do and how good they can do it

I am just about killing myself
Have you noticed that when women are expecting surgery or are sick, they still prepare for it or cook and freeze, clean and do so many things, and men just get sick, go to bed and forget all the little things that have to be done each day? My husband broke 3 ribs and just stayed in the recliner for 2 weeks and sleep. I know a woman who has had breast cancer and has broken many ribs and she still did things.
