almost 6 weeks post op..

i had vag hyster on thew 24th may.. saw gyno on the 22nd of June and since have been told recovery will take another 4-6 weeks due to stitches not disolving.. i've also had severe pain in my bum. bowels are regular so it's not that issue. finding it hard to do much as i end up in pain from standing or sitting to long..

anyone else feeling this way????

Don't panic about recovery time, what you've had was major surgery and there are lots of things inside still to heal. I had the same op as you on May 6th and was told it takes 12 weeks before you do most things normally again. I think most people that have had a hysterectomy will tell you it takes 6-12 months to fully get over surgery completely. As to the pain, it might be an idea to get checked out by your doctor just to make sure there's nothing else going on . Hope this helps!
