I Made It!!!!

Evening LIWs!

I got home yesterday from surgery on Friday the 22nd.

No problems here either. I was off the morph, leg wraps, cath etc..by 10 Saturday, and walking around like nobodys business.

Dr. came in and told me he indeed left the ovaries, but he said "Girl, you have the deepest pelvic of anyone I operated on in my career!, whatever that meant. He said all looked great.

The nurses were fantastic from the preop room through my discharge. I have been off pain med since the morph on Sat.

Thank you to everyone here for the encouragement and help along with all the info.

Best of Luck along with warm prayers and wish to all the LIWs, like we all said, the waiting is the hardest part.

Thank you so much for posting and letting us know how you are doing, and thank you for letting the Ladies in Waiting know that the waiting is really the worst part.

Make sure you follow your Dr's instructions to the T, I wouldn't want to have to call the Pillow on you!

Thanks for posting the postive report and encourgaging words to the It means so much.
Just be careful not to overdo, just cuz you are feeling so great.
Remember this is the time for lot's of pampering.

I am one of those ladies in waiting...I go to have my surgery 3-28-02 late in the evening.I have endo in the 4th stage.I'm ready for this bleeding to cease forever.I'm glad your home and recovering now so take it easy and if you have any advise for me,could you pass it on to me.Take care of you and remember to take it easy..Nice speaking to someone who's already had it done.
