Hi, Haileigh,

I'm just bumping your post back up so it doesn't get "lost" on the next page.

question for MaryAmethyst

Hi, Haileigh!

I'm sorry, I don't know the size of my fibroid. My doctor didn't say, and I didn't think to ask. At my post op he mentioned that I actually had several! News to me - ultrasound showed just one. Pathology showed additional ones and the adenomyosis. I come from a long line of bleeding females - no one on my mom's side of the family has gotten though menopause without a hysterectomy, except for one of my sisters, who really should have one but so far hasn't pursued it.

I'm about 7 weeks post op now and feel sooooooooooo great! Wish I could have found the right doctor years ago to take care of my problems, but I'm enjoying the new me now.

Take care!
