LAVH 4 months, back to surgery, scared

Anyone out there have advice? That feeling we get that feels like a painful arousal is the vaginal wall muscles contracting. Something is stimulating the nerves at my cuff, causing all that contraction. Meds help, but dont take it away and they have terrible side effects, so back to surgery in the 17th so Dr can check from the inside. I am more nervous already over this simple procedure than i was my hysterectomy, but it may be because i was so sick before i justwanted it over. Any advice would be appreciated.
