Home Again...

Hi all. I got home from the Castle on Saturday, but had an allergic reaction to the pain meds they gave me, got severely dehydrated, and ended up back at the hospital. I just got home again today. I have opted to go the rest of my recovery without pain meds, and have been doing fairly well on the IBproffin. I had a bunch of xrays while in there, and they did find a kidney stone on my left side. It is in my uriteral tube. They said this could be causing alot of my pain on my left side. And alot more to come until it passes... But, atleast I am at home, and hopefully it will pass during my recovery. I will give more info later.. Got a cold while in the castle, and sneezing stinks!!! Welcome home! Now be a good princess and remember your training: rest, drink lots of water, rest, take short walks around the house, and rest.

So sorry you had an allergic reaction....that is tough.

I found with my last surgery that I did better with Ibuprofen than anything else, except for the first several critical days of course!

I wish you well. This will soon be a faded memory as you enjoy a sunny summer day very soon!

Hang in there Sweety, I'm bummed that you had that awful allergic reaction, but I'm SO glad that you are home now; where you can rest in your own bed and concentrate on your recovery now. Keep drinking that water, especially in your case. Walk as you can. But remember, the healing comes with Rest.
