Two years post-op and still having bowel issues

i have the same problem. i drank metamucil everyday for over a year and realized it really wasn't helping anything. so now i drink a 500 ml bottle of water first thing in the morning, try to eat at least 2 servings of fruit during the day, whole grain bread or bran muffin, and still need to use laxatives occasionally. i try to aviod icecream, cheese, anything white, and calcium supplements are a no no.i had a colonoscopy done and all was fine.i have no idea why i am like this now but i know it is very uncomfortable at times and i feel like i cant eat very much at one sitting cause it feels like my body cant keep up with digestion and i am bloated quite often. i dont know what else to do.hope we both find answers.
