And--I feel great.
My estrogen patch has made my quality of life immeasurably better--no hot flashes, mood swings, or vaginal dryness. Without it, I doubt I would be feeling this good!

Bladder is a bit funky at times, but I have absolutely no pain anywhere, my energy is coming back slowly but surely (I'm training to be an aerobics instructor), my weight is stable, sex is fine, and life is good.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, sisters.

(pssst--and no more tampons, pads---and flooding or clotting is not affecting my quality of life anymore!)

isewquilts,

Thank you for the great report. You're sounding like a model patient. I know its encouraging for everyone to read these kinds of updates.
Congratulations on your training in aerobics. That will serve you well in many ways-earning money while you stay in shape.

"Model patient"? Well...not quite! I had a month-long UTI (picked up in the castle) that gave me fits--took 3 rounds of antibiotics before it went away. And I think that I have been driving my doctor nuts with tweaking my estrogen dosage.

As far as a 49 year old aerobics instructor...well, I haven't passed my training YET!

Hi there! I am right behind you...4 mo next week on the 2nd! And like you, I feel great! I have had no issues...overdid it a few times and got "sent to the recliner", but no problems that couldn't be solved with simple *rest*!

Glad you are doing well! It is so nice to hear good reports, especially from a sister who is close to my age (I'm 50) and had surgery around the same time as me.

Life is good! Thanks for sharing!
