Tomorrow...Can you believe it?!

Well, I remember talking to the doctor and him saying we will schedule you for surgery in the next two weeks. It ended up being 13 days from diagnosis to surgery. Tomorrow is the big day. I can't believe how fast the time went, although it felt like it dragged each day, here I am the day before, nervous (normal) but anxious to be on the flip side, crown on my head and on the road to healing.

I have real empathy for alot of you who are facing so much. Not just the surgery, but pain for years, abnormal bleeding and then there is the dreaded "c" word. My prayers and heart go out to you. I am here solely because my uterus decided it didn't want to stay where it was supposed to and decided to do its best to exit my body.

Hence we will fulfill its wishes and remove it, the cervix ( I am sure the cervix colluded with the uterus and its a conspiracy) but the good ol ovaries, have requested to remain.

They will also do anterior and posterior repair.

I am keloid ( it means I form scar tissue any time my skin is broke) and so doc mentioned we will proceed with the tvh but if he finds stuff (prior scar tissue or adhesions (can't imagine he will find anything, I haven't had so much as a twinge from any surgical site much less the incisions) he might have to go abdominal anyway. So, here we are, abit over 24 hours out and I can't wait.
