I knew I had to be up and functioning quickly. I was extremely fortunate that I had an lavh with an amazing . I took it extra careful the first week after my visit to the castle. I knew where I needed to be and when, luckily, I was able to get there. I got my release right under the two week mark. Needless to say, I was NOT 100%. But, I was still able to return to work full time.

My #1 goal after my op was getting on the pain meds. I knew I had to do this before I could drive. Around day 4 I started substituting motrin. It worked for me.

Take lots of small walks. I also am a firm believer that drinking hot tea helps you heal. Nothing to back that up aside from personal experience though.

I know you know this but, listen to your body. Take it easy.
