LSH: Had Abdominal liposuction BEFORE my scheduled hysterectomy - Anyone Else?

Has anyone had abdominal lipo BEFORE a laparoscopic hysterectomy? I had lipo on 9/26/15 and my hysterectomy will be on 11/4/15. Plastic surgeon said should have no problems. Would love to hear your experiences.

I have not had this experience.

But, you should talk to your surgeon who is doing the hysterectomy surgery to make sure s/he is okay with you just having lipo about 6 weeks before. It is this doctor's call, not your plastic surgeon.

I have a friend who had a tummy tuck done at the same time as her hysterectomy. Plastic surgeon worked with the gyn to coordinate, and all went very well.

As for yours being 6 weeks apart, yes, definitely tell your gyn, along with any complications/issues/problems you had. I have a feeling it will be fine, but this is important enough to ask your doctor.
