LSH ladies, how long...

Afterward until you drove? I'm wondering if I'll be okay to drive by the 2nd of March, to take my mom back to the airport. All my doctor said was whenever I feel like it, or feel okay. Pretty vague.

I had my SILS LSH 1/10 I was driving at 5 days , although I was told I could at 2. I just didn't have the need to go out .

It is at least 11/2 hours to the airport, without traffic, and then back again. Think that will be doable? Will I still be tired? This is just in case my husband is out of town.

I would say probably , I was really tired until day 11 and then the fatigue just vanished. But everyone is different .

I was driving at 5 days--a 45 minute drive home from the airport. At two weeks it wouldn't have been a problem driving 1 1/2 hours and back. A rest during a 3 hour drive would be reasonable. Expect to be tired after the drive.

Keep in mind everyone is different and it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a backup plan just in case you have a bad day. With a LSH and a normal recovery the trip is reasonable. To drive my Dr said no Rx pain meds and ability to hit the break hard.
