Post hysterectomy questions about pain

Hello, I'm new to the site. I had a hysterectomy on 4/1 because in early March I had pre cancer cells on my cervix that were already stage 3. I was scared to have the procedure because I have not had children. I'm okay with it for now I didn't think I would have children anyway I've never been a kid person if I can't give them back in a few hours. Got off topic!
I am just over a week postop and I am thinking I should be further along in the recovery process. I am young and active and I don't smoke. Maybe I'm just pushing myself I do sometimes like to think I'm wonderwoman.
I was wondering about other people's recovery. I still have pain in my lower abs/upper groin so much so I take 4 ibuprofen. I was doing great the first part of this week but then last night I had some pain like something was poking me about where my uterus was and some muscle soreness...I know my doctor used barbed sutures and I did go on a walk w my dog because I was feeling so much better. Has anyone else experienced pain like that? I'm probably pushing myself too much but I'm going crazy here!

What kind of hysterectomy did you have? Try not to rush things. You want to be careful not to over do and push yourself too much.

Total but kept ovaries. Thanks I'm trying but I'm so bored worried about hendering recovery looking forward to get back to the gym.

Did you have it done vaginally, laparoscopic, or abdominal?
