One week post hysterectomy - burning

I'm 1 week post op. I just took a shower and washed down there and it burned and it still burns. I don't think this is normal, right?
I use Summer Eves cleansing wash.

It's possible you could have a yeast infection from the antibiotics they use during and right after surgery. Do you have any discharge? Or it could just be irritation from the surgery. I had bleeding start about 12 days post op and had irritation from that and using pads. My dr checked for yeast but I didn't have any. They prescribed Nystatin for irritation. But I know some on here have had yeast infections. You might want to check with your Dr. I hope you feel better soon.

You may find your body is hypersensitive to certain things while you are healing.
Try not using the wash and not worry about cleansing it too much.
I used a natural vaginal wash (provacare), it helped and didn't burn.
I would check with your doctor and see what is safe for you to use. There might be a gentler wash in the hystersisters store on here.
It might just be a reaction to the wash.
But check with your doctor if it keeps burning, don't use the wash and see if you can find a gentler wash.
