Just tired

Well Ladies I am one week post op as well and i am just tired of doing nothing and i am really trying not to run out and just scream. You are talking to a woman who is always on the go and now all i can do is sit still and walk slow. I had my first doctors visit on thursday to take the staples out and i was so happy cause now i can move. i just want to sleep on my tummy i miss it i feel like all i do is sleep and walk from the bedroom to the living room my sweet hubby too me on a ride yesterday that was nice and he walks with me down the driveway to the mailbox everyday and my son wont stop trying to make me laugh. really i am ready to go back to work but i know i cant and i am trying to be patient but i do miss my clothes too can i put some one sometime soon lol yea if i can fit in them this big belly lol anyway just thought i would vent thanks for letting me it is better than being emotionally crying and everyone telling me its ok it is going to be fine we understand anyway we will all make it through ladies and i wont do anything drastic i will sit still but if you see a story woman just had surgery gone mad thats me lol

Yep, you are experiencing everything I did at that stage in recovery. I remember shuffliing along to the mailbox and clutching my tummy. Now 5 weeks later I am walking normally 3 miles although I get winded toward the end. Before surgery I was running 3 miles or walking 7 at a power walk! Incredible to me how much surgery takes out of you especially if you are a mover and shaker like me! As each day goes by you will find your energy returning and the pain/fatigue receding. Don't push it and enjoy the moments.
