bright red bleeding after sex is it normal?

14 1/2 weeks today. Using Femring too. Had sex this am and started spotting. DH had me call the Dr. Midwife called back and said not to worry unless I was hemmoraghing (sp?) I have had lots of granulation issues also. I started a full time job a week and a half ago(stand on my feet for 9 hrs a day). I haven't worked like that in years and haven't been able to go back since hyst in May due to complications.
Just need to know all is well. Having birthday party today and don't want to go to ER. Took Femring out and washed it off before inserting it again. Still spotting. I have to get things ready here for party, should I not lift anything. I wonder if it has to do with standing all week long?

I think it is probably ok. If you have had granulation issues I would guess there is just an area that isn't quite healed up. I know how disturbing it is to see blood when you know there shouldn't be any there. If the midwife said it was ok I would just be somewhat careful today. Recruit some help with the heavy stuff and try to get off your feet whenever you can. I personally think the 9 hours on your feet could have contributed. If the spotting gets heavier or doesn't go away I would call the dr again.

Thanks soooo much for the fast reply... I will heed the advice well! I will call on Mon. to go in. I was gonna call anyway, felt that I was either haveng bacterial vag. or yeast inf. maybe from femring... oh well gonna have a great day in spite of this.
