5.5 week post-op - Released! No more restrictions!
I had my last post-op check-up today, and the doc's said I was good to go - I am free to restart my life! Running, hiking, horses, and lovin' are in my future. I am so thankful for this second chance.
Take heart, sisters. There is light at the end of this tunnel.

 Just make sure to listen to your body and ease back into things. I was released for everything a 4 weeks, but I took my time and for a lot of things I waited until 8-12 weeks. Your body will let you know what is too much, but take it slow and pay attention to what your body tells you.
