TAH Almost two weeks post hysterectomy: Lifting my baby; when will I be able to?

I have a 11 month old baby girl at home that I haven't lifted since my surgery July 30th I am lucky To have my 18 year old who has been able to help me take care of her but on sept 3 she will be going back to school and I will have to care for my daughter myself will I be able to lift her 5 weeks after surgery ?

It depends... on several things. You really need to talk to your doctor about it, and let him know how much she weighs. You'll be at five weeks by then, so it may be fine, but only your doctor can give you a definitive answer.
