1 day post daVinci hysterectomy and Post-Op Panties??

I had a full hysterectomy with ovaries, tubes, and appendix removed yesterday and I'm home today.
I may have already overdone it...accidentally.
I'm wondering if post-op panties will help with support for my incisions? Worried they may run weird on the stitches closer to my waist.
I also kept a pair of mama spanx from my pregnancy but it's not as tight as I'd like it.
I have the most pain when laying or sitting so I'd really like to feel better while I recover instead of constantly having to stand and walk for a minute to take pressure off.

I had a TAH & my Dr gave me an abdominal pad (soft square pad surgeons use over ab @surgery). She then had me wear an ab binder over the pad. It held me in & gave me support. I felt like I was able to stand longer.

Post op, I felt like my abs were so weak. It hurt most to get in/out of bed & sit/stand. It also helped to grab a pillow over my abs.

I later just put a regular pad over the incision, panty over the pad, tank top, then ab binder. The pad wicks any moisture & prevents anything rub the incision...A tank top prevented the binder from rub on my skin & I used to place cold packs between tank top & binder like my own pouch.

Getting up & doing some walking through the day is good. Alternate w rest & hydrating...Cokd oacks or ice for swelling ir freeze pads to apply where ever you have discomfirt. Low, belly.. Just wrap in towel. Heat pad for pain- wrap in towel. Lots of pillows. It felt better when I was propped higher up or in a recliner. It made it easier to get up.

So I ended up ordering the compression post-op panties and love them. They arrived this morning and I was so eager to get them washed and put on. It made it much easier to move around
