Premarin vaginal cream

Went for my follow-up visit with my doc. Everything looks good released at three weeks ( thought that was strange and to soon). Anyway she did prescribe Premarin vaginal cream. Has anyone used this. How does it work any problems?

I have been using Premarin Vaginal cream for about 6 weeks now and it works great for me and what I need. I opted to not do hormones- my only concern was vaginal dryness since that was an issue for me prior to surgery. My dr prescribed Premarin Vaginal cream 2x a week for the dryness. It has worked for that.

I have had no other symptoms. I am watching what I eat and exercising daily and feeling better than I have in years.

Hey Caribi, my doctor prescribed the cream for me, I started using it at about 8 weeks post-op. He said just a pea-sized dab and to put it in with my finger, I do it about 3x a week. I'm very happy with the results, no vaginal dryness now! My doctor said that even though I'm a cancer girl, it's such a small amount and low dosage that it doesn't really get into the bloodstream. It was expensive but a little bit goes a long way, and he gave me some small samples to get me started. Good luck to you!
