Re: Cleaning Mode

I totally did that too! Cleaned up and down and all around for four days straight before my TAH. So glad I did. I mean you have to sit and look at the house for 6 weeks, might as well be clean!

Re: Cleaning Mode

I am exactly where you are. My TAH is Monday and I've turned the house upside down, vacuuming under all furniture, cleaning baseboards, re-arranging closets and even completely re-painted one and installed an organizational shelf system in it. LOL I think more than anything, I want to come home from the hospital and be satisfied that it's clean already and not have to request someone else to do it or try to just do it myself. I'm super independent, so I don't want to run that risk. :-) On top of that, I think I am trying to keep my mind occupied until D-day.

Re: Cleaning Mode

I'm in the same mode. For me it's a great distraction and tbh, my family is better at maintenance cleaning than deep cleaning. I'm just frustrated I can't do it full time.
