Trusting our body again after hysterectomy?

How long does it take until we trust our bodies again and aren't afraid every time we go to restroom out partake I any activity that we won't be bleeding or destroying our healing thus far? I can't wait till I get there and can workout and run and do burpees again... I've been living in fear of damaging myself and going backwards and had done spots that have bleed and it's really done a number on me mentally. Am I crazy is anyone else feeling similar?

Re: Trusting our body again after hysterectomy?

I think that's a pretty normal feeling. For some of us it takes a little time to get adjusted to our new normal. I can't say when you'll become comfortable with the new you, as it different for each of us, but I think as the days go by, the fear will ease and you'll live

I was nervous nervous during my recovery because I didn't have any bleeding past day two. Every time I went to the bathroom, it was the first thing I checked for and did so like a crazy person But guess what, as my recovery progressed, I began to trust that I was finally okay. Yes, twinges, pulls and some soreness still occurred from time to time but I had a better quality of life and it was awesome.

When you are released for exercise, ease your way into things and definitely listen to your body. Push it when it lets you and rest it when it tells you to. Be patient. You will get to where you need to be, exactly when you need to get there.

Let go of the fear that something bad will happen and go on and live your better quality of life sweetie. It's time
