I am Home!!!!

I had LAVH on the 17th and came home today at 1pm. I am doing great. In fact the only real problem is from a sinus infection I got while on oxygen and a spell with my heart. As far as the surgery, I have had little to no pain and am doing great.

I am so glad to hear you are doing well. I continue to marvel at the LAVH procedure. Even though you feel great, don't overdo it! Rest, fluids, and stool softeners should be your MO for the next few days. Best wishes for a speedy recovery !!!!

Hello! I had surgery the same day, in Kansas! I live in Belton Missouri though. Sorry about your sinus infection. The oxygen made my nose irritated too, had a couple of bloody noses while at hospital, nothing major though. I have my staples removed on Monday, not looking forward to that!

May sleeping an pooping come easily, may pain and discomfort come seldomly

Thanks everyone. I am so glad to be home. However I just got word today that I am moving right away so keep us in your prayers. My husband is taking a new job in the town we used to live in for 18 years so it will at least be nice to be going someplace familiar this time.
