The big "O", will it be the same?

I'm going to be scheduled for TVH/BSO hopefully for Feb 19. I work with a lot of ladies who say that after surgery, your love making and "o" are different. Tried to keep the question as clean as possible. Hope it was ok. Thanks....

I'm 4 months post & everything works fine. The big "O" is even better, actually. Just my personal experience; everyone is a bit different.

Hi, I used to live in Perris. Anyway, love making and the big "O" are different for me. Not bad, just different. It is very nice to not have pain, bleeding or "off limits" time.

I'm five months post op from a TAH and although I never had the Big O during intercourse I can honestly tell you that sex is better now. There's no more pain, no more bleeding, and so I'm able to relax more. Also, hubby doesn't notice a difference from before surgery.

I had a TAH in april- They took my cervix also.
I think sex is the same or better for me.
Alot of women vary.

I had everything taken out, including my cervix and the actual sensation of the big "O" is not different - don't worry hon, it still happens THANK GOD!!!!! The one thing I did notice is that sometimes I don't seem as lubricated, my husband says he really didn't notice, but I can tell based on "hands on" experience and sex with him. We picked up some astroglide and that helps.

Don't you worry about the big "O", and if you want to hear a funny story, my second day home, I personally made sure things were still working! Sorry, I don't mean to offend but it was something I was really worried about so I figured I'd rather find out by myself first if it was broken vs. finding out WITH my DH!!

And Steph, having had three surgeries lately, please believe all the stories you hear from us post-op gals, the LIWs have it the worst, once it's over, it doesn't seem like a big deal, not as bad as you think it is going to be. Just remember to REST AND SLEEP when you get home and don't be surprised at your lack of energy. Any questions, just ask!

I had a TAH/BSO with cervix out too, 8 months ago and I am here to tell you that the big "O" is just as good or better now that I am post op. My DH says he doesn't notice a difference but I can since I no longer have pain and have to deal with the mess that came with it.
I had vaginal dryness on several occasions and I have no problems now at all. I am on Vivelle Dot HRT patch since surgery and dont have need for astroglide. But then again thats just in my case.

The Big O IS BETTER THAN EVER!!!! You'll enjoy it so much more. Don't worry.....It'S GRAND - - - I was so worried and everything is perfect. Relax.......You'll soon find out.
