4 (or so) weekers...
Just curious if any of you are having these symptoms--I have days where I get so cold and can do nothing to get warm enough. My fingers even go numb. Also my skin is soooo dry (I tan, but have every spring for as far back as I can remember and have never had such dry skin) and my hair is dry and staticky (sp?). Also dreams every night and rarely fall into a deep sleep and sleep all night. Is this normal?

i have really dry skin too and i get the cold spells. which is funny because my hubby says its hot and i'm freezing my booty off LOL. it was at its worst last week, and this week it hasn't been that bad. i am also having lots of dreams feeling like i'm not getting any sleep. i mentioned on another post about stretching, that i think i'm stretching in my sleep and the feeling (pulling etc) enters my dreams and i end up dreaming about it. i also think i'm rolling over quicker which causes tummy pulls and that also enters my dreams. i'm pretty sick of dreaming LOL. i think that its normal for where we are at in our recovery.

I am also freezing cold all the time and I live in Hawaii!! didn't use to have this problem.
This is definitely related to the surgery/hormones/recovery... does anyone know specifically what is causing this?
I am also have sleep difficulties-- wide awake and ready to go.

Hey girls- yeah me too; strange dreams, dry skin and bouts of chillin' cold- wondering if it's all hormonal and I have 6 week check-up next week so I''ll ask my Dr. and post answers if no one else finds out first. Hope you're all doing pretty well otherwise--Take care and pamper yourselves! :dance2:

Thanks, Jules. Yes, please do keep us posted. Sounds like it may be hormonal since others seem to be having the same exact "symptoms." Other than that, doing wonderful. Good luck at your 6-week. Mine is May 4th. I'll ask then, too, if they're still persisting.

If feeling cold keeps up make sure to have your thyroid tested. It can also cause dry skin and hair. My hair is very dry and brittle and I learned from a thread on here and my hairdresser that hormones and anesthesia can cause all of this. I have had luck with Aveeno 24 hour lotion for the body and a deep conditioner for my hair.
I wouldn't worry too much, just keep the stuff in mind to mention to your dr. if they don't go away in a few weeks.
